3 Marines stabbed outside bar in San Clemente are recovering at Camp Pendleton

CAMP PENDLETON — — 3 Marines who were stabbed during a battle over the weekend break outside a bar in San Clemente are back with their device, army authorities said Monday, Aug. 6.

The Marines, two 21-year-old males and a 23-year-old male– are component of the First Battalion/4th Marines, stated Capt. Paul Gainey, with the 1st Marine Division. Since Monday, the Militaries were being treated on the base.

One of the suspects, Alexis Moreno-Aguirre, 24, was apprehended by OCSD on suspicion of attempted murder. An additional 24-year-old male and also a 20-year-old woman were detained by authorities however launched at the scene, claimed OCSD Sgt. Sandra Longnecker.

“The 1st Marine Department knows a run-in that occurred on the night of Aug. 3 at a San Clemente bar that left three Marines with non-life-threatening injuries,” Gainey said. “The Orange Area Sheriff’s Division has taken suspects right into protection and also is investigating the scenario.”
